Hermès Plein Air Complexion Balm: A quick review

Hermès Plein Air Complexion Balm: A quick review

What it is: A lineup of complexion balms from the French luxury brand Hermès.

Available in 12 translucent shades, the balm offers buildable coverage and a radiant finish that lasts up to eight hours, according to the brand.

Beauty bonus: After so many months of not wearing foundation, we love this buildable, balm product.

Beauty bummer: None.

Overall: Part of a larger beauty expansion from the brand, Plein Air also includes two highlighters, a brush and blotting papers — with tiny Hs on them, of course.

We love the addition of a skin-perfecting balm to the Hermès Beauty family. We found this tinted product gave skin a nice veil of coverage. We applied using a synthetic-bristle brush and buffed it onto skin for a nice, even finish.

The formula boasts skin-loving ingredients such as evening primrose oil and Baikal skullcap to protect skin from "external aggressors."

The made-in-Japan formula wore nicely throughout the day, and we enjoyed the overall effect when we paired this complexion balm with the other aforementioned Hermès Plein Air products.

Would recommend? Yes, especially if you're an Hermès fan.

Price: $115
