Dior Forever Matte Foundation: A quick review

What it is: A clean update to the popular foundation range from Dior, this matte skin makeup focuses on overall skincare and sustainability — along with performance. Available in 42 shades.

Overall: The new clean Dior Forever foundation offers a matte, medium coverage with an SPF 15.

We found the formula was very comfortable to wear, without any of the usual foundation flaws we encounter with many matte options — you know the usual suspects: settling, creasing, splitting and transferring.

Formulated with a floral skincare base of iris, rose and wild pansy, we found this foundation to be hydrating and very fluid. Adding to this, a move to a more clean ingredient list free from parabens and phthalates, further boosted this luxury foundation for us. 

We tried both the matte and Forever Glow finish — both were more on the buildable side, which we loved.
