The past 16-plus months have seen loungewear and athleisure clothing embraced seemingly more than ever before. At least that's been the case for me.
Whether I'm headed out for a dog walk, settling onto my yoga mat for a quick Peloton session, running to the grocery store, or doing work-from-home things — I can often be found in some type of workout wear piece these days.
And lately, that regular wardrobe rotation has included pieces from the recently released activewear collection from the eco-forward brand Allbirds.
The San Francisco-headquartered company has added activewear to its lineup, introducing supportive sport tops, running shorts and even a pair of leggings made using sustainable fibres such as Tencel, recycled nylon and merino wool.
The collection is fashionable and functional — while also offering a green alternative to the athletic category.
