Twilly d'Hermès Eau Ginger by Hermès: A quick review

Twilly d'Hermès Eau Ginger by Hermès: A quick review

What it is: A recent scent addition to the Twilly d'Hermès collection, Twilly d'Hermès Eau Ginger adds sparkling notes of ginger into the mix.

Beauty bonus: This "floral, spicy and woody eau de parfum" is playful but also surprisingly sophisticated.

Beauty bummer: The spicy ginger didn't stick around long on our skin.

Overall: This playful scent features three main "materials," according to the maison — candied ginger, peony and cedar.

The sunny yellow elixir is bottled in the go-to boxy glass with a bright white cap, complete with a new silk Twilly tie around the neck.

Overall, Twilly d'Hermès Eau Ginger is a pleasant fragrance that's easy to wear.

The eau de parfum's peony notes came on strong, providing a nice, flowery scent. The cedar added a nice touch to the mix, though, as mentioned in the 'Beauty bummer', we wish the ginger elements had stuck around longer on our skin.

Would recommend? Maybe. Truth be told, I still like the original Twilly best.
