What you see right here is what I will be doing this long weekend.
I shared these images on Instagram along with a bit of personal information about how this past week ... has had an effect on me. While I know how fortunate I am to still have my job and good health, I can't seem to shake the anxiety of this ongoing situation.
So, I've turned to colouring.
The acting of putting coloured pencil to page — and trying not to colour outside the lines, of course — affords my mind a few minutes aways from the news and thoughts about COVID-19. That's why, if you're looking for me this weekend, you can likely find me out side in the grass, by myself, colouring pretty pictures of ponies.
