I mentioned on Instagram this week that I caught a nasty cold. So, that means I've been spending more time than usual laying around my house, drinking lots of water and trying to get some rest. (Those who know me well know that laying around is actually my least favourite thing to do.)
But, while I've admittedly been a bit lax on my to-do lists and outfits whilst relaxing at home, one area that I haven't altered is my dedication to fragrance. I always spritz a little scent on — no matter what I'm doing.
I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that, adding a little scent in the morning makes me feel more pulled together, even when I'm feeling unwell.
And my latest scent obsession is the new CHANEL Gabrielle Chanel Essence. The eau de parfum is a similar elixir to the original Gabrielle Chanel scent, but it plays up the notes of Grasse Tuberose for a "deep" and "voluptuous" scent.
A headier offering (in my opinion) than the original, the golden elixir makes me feel luxurious, yes, even when I'm just sitting at home.
