I don't think it's a wild statement to say that this seems to be the summer of linen.
The natural-fibre textile has been TAKING OVER my Instagram fashion feeds lately. And now, it has made its way into my closet, too.
It's funny, I had always thought linen pieces were for a) the Florida set (know what I'm sayin'?) or b) for those who bought said garments while on vacation in Thailand. But, the recent seasons have changed all that for me.
Linen, it seems, is cool. In more ways than one. ;)
I decided to don this adorable linen dress from Le Chateau with a few "heavier" items including a denim Levi's jacket and black accessories. They served to anchor the very-summery piece on a day that turned out to be rather grey.
I'm excited to also wear this dress with more airy accessories once the weather makes up it's mind and decides to go full-on summer mode.
