I recently stopped by the luxurious Ladurée salon de thé in Vancouver for an afternoon tea service.
Being the day after my birthday, I used the trip as both a small celebration — and a research expedition for a recent story I wrote for work.
While I've been to the iconic French eatery's outposts in Paris several times, I've only visited the Robson Street salon once before. And, as soon as I sat down at my table inside the tea salon that afternoon, I wondered why I don't visit more often.
From the decor to the delicious delights they offer during the afternoon tea service, the experience was a true treat. If you go, my suggestion is to share your afternoon tea with someone – because there's A LOT of food. I went with my mom and sister, and even only ordering two
It gave me an excuse to eat a few extra macarons than I typically would in one sitting ... you know, so they didn't go to waste. ;)
