Beauty bonus: We very rarely come across shadows that don’t need a primer to stay crease-free throughout the day. These liquid shadows are one of them!
Beauty bummer: We know they’re fan faves, but the liquid lips are not on our nice list: they come across a bit too dry on us.
Overall: If Santa is reading this, please bring more of these fabulous glitter shadows!
The set is labeled as a highlighter and eyeshadow set, but we only had eyes for them on, well, our eyes!
We will be honest: when we first applied one of the darker shades, we weren’t that impressed. We let it dry a bit and applied another coat — and we were hooked. The colour payoff takes a bit of building but it is so sparkly when we worked at it. The best part was the staying power: not a single crease with all-day wear — with no primer!
As for the Stay All Day lip minis, the colours are wearable and chic, but we find the formula a tad finicky. One coat is best, as too many passes leaves things feeling dry and a little chalky. And, if you have to reapply throughout the day, it's best to wipe it off completely, and then start again.
Would recommend? The liquid shadow and highlighter set, yes! The liquid lip, maybe not.
