What it is: Inspired by the world and fashion of fetish, this ultra-limited edition holiday collection from Kat Von D Makeup that consists of an eyeshadow palette, liquid lips and blush/highlighter palette.
Beauty bonus: The blush/highlighter palette is amazing! With edgy and safe colours, we are feeling it!
Beauty bummer: The packaging is very fetish-inspired but apparently gigantic makeup bags are in fashion with this crew — these pallets are huge — and not really in a good way.
Overall: We are dying over the blush palette - that mauve-y purple magenta shade?! Stop! It looks difficult to pull off but believe us —it is very pretty on.
With very easy build and blend-ability, we have been using this on the daily.
The eyeshadow palette is pretty, but in our opinion, not the most blend-able of Kat’s formulas. We tried the shade Latex over Kink with moderate results. We haven’t dipped into those chunky glitters yet, but we’ve got our eye (get it?) on them!
Would recommend? If you can only swing one (or only have room in your makeup drawer for a limited number of new additions) pick the blush/highlighter palette. The eyeshadow palette is pretty, but not our absolute fave, and the liquid lips are a pass for us.
