A great wool coat is a staple of every winter season. Especially when it's plaid.
Last winter, I went a little out of my comfort zone by buying/wearing coloured wool coat in hues like green, yellow and bold red. While I wasn't sure at first how versatile the coloured toppers would be, I was pleasantly surprised with how easy they were to incorporate into my everyday wardrobe.
And, I'm happy to report that, when it comes to coats, plaid is equally as wearable as its coloured counterparts. I wore this plaid trench several times last year, in the spring and winter, so I was fairly certain could make this thicker iteration work overtime too.
And, while it hasn't been quite cold enough to wear this on repeat just yet, I'm positive that it's going to be a wardrobe MVP this winter.
