This week, I found out the single-best thing about an ice storm.
Curious about what it could possibly be? Well, allow me to explain ...
Last week, we were hit with an epic storm that left power lines downed, trees broken and, well, pretty much everything covered in a solid coating of ice.
The next day, when my power was finally turned back on, I ventured out for a Starbucks, a few groceries and some outfit photos, and was overjoyed to discover that, while slightly treacherous, the ice storm had left behind a beautiful scene.
Shards of ice clung to virtually every surface, and the icy tree branches positively glinted in the winter sun — making for a v. beautiful backdrop for the day's #ootd photos.
Now, that's what I'd call a silver lining. ;)
