AGNEEL Sophie Handbag: A quick review

What it is: A minimalist-chic bag from the Berlin-based brand AGNEEL.

The style is available in around 15 (yes, 15!!) shades of calfskin in variations such as suede, matte or smooth leather.

Where it's made: Handmade in Turkey from all Italian materials.

Size: 11 inches x 7 inches x 4 inches (measurements are approximate)

Pros: The design is sleek and timeless with minimal branding. Plus, it fits a TON! I can fit a large wallet, iPhone 6, mini agenda (yes, I still use one of those), sunglasses, small makeup essentials, keys and more. With room to spare!

Cons: Not a huge downfall, but the interior of my suede bag (in the colour Castagne) is also suede, which is super luxe but also makes it prone to stains.

Overall: This bag is an absolute beauty. Despite the roomy size and chain strap, it's surprisingly lightweight and comfortable to carry.

In my video review, I mentioned the fear of the aluminum chain breaking down over time, but I'm happy to report that, several months into owning it, the 18-karat gold-finish chain still looks fabulous.

From the luxe suede exterior, to the conveniently sectioned interior, this handbag is a pleasure to use and to carry. Plus, the relatively affordable price point (think: well below the cost of a comparable bag at Gucci or Celine) makes it extra worthwhile.

Price: 630 euro (approximately $912 dollars)
