Home decor is a big departure for me on the blog.
So, what makes it important for me right now? Well, it's part of some big changes that are ahead for me ...
I've been apartment hunting lately, which is basically a lesson in frustration in Vancouver, so I have home decor on the brain. Big time.
But while I have yet to find the perfect place, I've been looking to buy a few decor items before I take the plunge because I know that once I've spent the huge chunk of cash required to buy, my funds will be a bit tight for decor.
So, I recently headed to Winners in order to find some pieces for my (prospective) new place.
With $300 in hand, I scoured the store for items to make a small reading corner — that had some serious style, of course.
I found this statement chair ($150), marble-top table ($70), faux fur pillow ($30), marble coasters ($10) fashion books ($5 each) and faux flowers in a vase ($30) for the space. Side note: I scored the mini shearling carpet on a previous visit. ;)
All in all, I'm pretty pleased with my #WinnersFabFinds. Now I just need to find my own place to put them in. ;)
Happy Wednesday and thank you for stopping by.
