What it is: From the Korean skincare brand Racinne, which also has a Canadian division, the Aqua Blanc line focuses on brightening and evening out skin tone using Niacinamide (B3) and Lotus Callus Extract to help skin appear more radiant.
Beauty bonus: The formula gently sloughs dull skin layers, helping pores appear smaller. 'Cause who doesn't want smaller pores.
Beauty bummer: The mask was a bit odd — more like a heavy moisturizer meets face mask.
Overall: Korean beauty products are making a big splash in the North American market — and Racinne's Aqua Blanc line is a nice addition to the category.
The sunscreen is very light on the skin, leaving a soft non-greasy feel. The mask, while different from other masks we've tried, left skin feeling hydrated.
The brightening mask is not your typical mask, it is similar to a cream. Skin did look radiant but a rinse was necessary post use.
Would recommend? Sunscreen, yes. Mask, undecided.
Price: Sunscreen $17 (travel size); Mask $18 (travel size)
