I've always been a fan of classic button-down shirts.
Paired with crisp ankle trousers, torn jeans, skirts, shorts ... the possible pairings are endless.
So, when I heard about a new made-in-Vancouver brand called Power of My People, which exclusively makes menswear-inspired toppers for women, I had to check them out.
Offering several fits — from trim to oversized — the 100-percent cotton shirts are the perfect classic pieces that are guaranteed to become wardrobe staples for years to come.
Add in the fact that it's a local brand, which fulfills my ongoing goal to shop and support more local artisans and boutiques, and buying from Power of My People just seems like a no-brainer.
Instead of my usual Weekend Shop feature, check them out at www.powerofmypeople.com.
Happy Friday (we made it!), and thank you for stopping by.
