I'll admit it: I've never been a huge fan of houndstooth.
While I find the print interesting to look at, I find it equally distracting to wear, and therefore tend to leave it—in most of its iterations— at the store.
Until I spotted this slick, silver-accented sweater from 424 Fifth.
I was instantly attracted to the absence of an all-over print. Plus, the metallic touch is pretty irresistible. Paired with relaxed white jeans, the look feels—fresh.
It's a classic case of never say never.
