I had scouted this location at the beginning of the summer and was excited to finally get the chance to shoot here last week.
Located down a back alley in downtown Vancouver, it's almost completely covered by mind-boggling amounts of graffiti. And not just any graffiti — it's good graffiti.
And I'm so, so pleased with how these photos turned out.
When I bribed my sister with a Starbucks coffee in exchange for snapping a few photos, I never dreamed they would turn out like this.
I always knew she had a great eye for art ... she is a part-time jewelry designer, after all (if you haven't checked out her creations at Dear You, Pretty Things, I suggest you do it now!) ... but the way she composed these shots sort of blew my mind.
It's usually my friends and family members who shoot my blog photos — and seeing these shots reminded me that I'm so unbelievably lucky to have such a supportive group who are willing to do my blog photos, offer opinions on outfits, test beauty products and, of course, wait around while I edit "just one more photo. I promise."
So, thank you to "my crew" :P ... and thank you for reading.
On another note, I would be eternally thankful too if you'd show up to my event at Le Chateau in downtown Vancouver at 813 Burrard St. this Saturday, Aug. 23 from 1-4 p.m.
In addition to talking new trends that you can shop now and wear ... now and later — I will be giving away a $200 gift card to Le Chateau at the event!
I hope to see you there!
