It's not every old Saturday that I get invited to a red-carpet opening of ... well, anything. So when I got the invite to the newly renovated Le Château concept store at Richmond Centre, I quickly agreed.
Not only does the store boast amazingly luxurious decor (the store's designer has also worked on retail outlets for the likes of Burberry) including environmentally friendly LED lighting and accessory-covered feature walls — the men's and women's clothing and accessories housed inside are all worth a second — and third look.
After touring the space with the oh-so charming Shawn Schmidt, the National Director of Visual Presentation at Le Château, I grabbed my fair share of summer tops and skirts to try on — and I couldn't help but pick a few to take home, too. Let's just say, it was a good day.
