Mix & match: Polka dot pattern pairing with a sheer blouse and pencil skirt

Spring still hasn't necessarily sprung here in Vancouver, but I'm ready to fully embrace the warmer, brighter season right now ... in more ways than one. 

The fashion magazines and online trend reports are all naming the hottest trends of spring, and I have to admit, I love most -- if not all of them. Sporty? Game on! Mules? I'll give them a go! And print mixing? You bet!

Having these two spotted separates already in my wardrobe, I thought I would give the print mixing a go -- though I really want to try mixing uber-trendy florals -- while also sticking to my suddenly stricter spring shopping budget. (My desire to travel > my desire to be trendy this season!)
