Travel diary: What not to wear to Mt. Etna

Mona Sultan Scarf, BCBG boyfriend blazer, Ily Couture, Steve Madden Grizz, Coach

Though I had the best of intentions, this outfit post is very much of the what NOT to wear variety.
During my travels through the island of Sicily, I took an excursion up to Mt. Etna. With the challenge of dressing myself for both a top of the mountain excursion and a later seaside endeavour during which I would not get the chance to change -- combined with a slightly inaccurate weather forecast -- I found myself on the edge of a volcano in a skort.
Despite the 60-80 mph winds at the upper parking lot (with 100+ mph winds at the top of the volcano) I decided to suffer through a few what-I-wore-style photos for my first-ever (and hopefully last!) post about what NOT to wear.

Aleesha, you brought fab to the top of Mt. Etna! I can only imagine how cold it must have been but either way you look great! Love the pop of colour from your scarf too!

LOL! Thank you for making me feel better about my inappropriate outfit choice, Jackie! It was so freezing up there.
